Scott Brother’s Very Fine Comics has been online for a year! One year last week actually. This is the large middle panel from this weeks comic. I’ll post the beginning and end a little bit later, so until then, please enjoy this cavalcade of year-one characters!!
I compiled a couple older comics with a third newer one for this Funnibles collection. I’m almost fully positive that the monster doesn’t represent my insecurities or other personal issues. Sometimes a monster is just a monster…right?
Nope, nope, wrong. Every character you create is some part of your subconscious trying to scrape its way to the surface. For instance, Gear girl is my feminine side mixed with my inner child, Flooferton represents job anxiety, and Keeble is my inner criminal.
Ah, I get it, so what about when we draw each other? Do I have an inner Aden, what if I draw a picture of myself drawing myself, can my subconscious have a subconscious…this is getting weird, I want to stop.
Agreed, its non representational abstract comics for us from this point forward.
